Safe Sitter Babysitting Class (Class is full. No waitlist.) In-Person
Grades 6-8

Designed to prepare students to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. This instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice life-saving rescue skills.
Students will learn:
- child care skills
- life & business skills
- safety skills
- first-aid & rescue skills
The class is from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Please bring a lunch and arrive at 8:45 a.m. to have time to check in. Registration begins on Thursday, May 30.
Students also need to fill out 2 forms before taking the class. After you register, please find the Registration Form and Student Contract in the green box at the bottom of the page. Or drop by the Children's Library to pick up the forms. The forms need to be emailed to teens@warwicklibrary.org or returned to the library before the class.
