A Concert of Scottish Fiddle by Louise Bichan

A Concert of Scottish Fiddle by Louise Bichan In-Person

Come for a concert of Scottish fiddle by Louise Bichan, and hear original tunes from her albums Out of My Own Light and The Lost Summer.

Out of My Own Light tells the story of Louise’s grandmother Margaret Tait who journeyed from Scotland to Canada and back for six months in 1950 while deciding between two suitors who asked for her hand in marriage.

The Lost Summer explores new settings for old songs and Louise’s connection to people, nature, the past, and the possibility of the future.

See Louise Bichan on fiddle, Brendan Hearn on cello, Ethan Setiawan on mandolin and octave mandolin, and Conor Hearn on guitar.

This event is free and open to all.
