The 80th Anniversary of World War II in Europe, 1944-45: A Retrospective In-Person
Join Dr. Stanley Carpenter from the Naval War College for a four-part, 80th anniversary retrospective of World War II in Europe from 1944-45 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m.
On November 19, experience Their Finest Hour: Battles of Britain and the Atlantic, 1939-43.
On November 20, brave Days of Days: Operations Neptune, Overlord, and D-Day, June to August 1944.
On December 3, consider A Bridge Too Far: Operation Market Garden, September 1944.
On December 4, witness Nuts!: The Battle of the Bulge, December 1944 – January 1945.
Dr. Stanley D.M. Carpenter is Professor Emeritus at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island and a retired U.S. Naval officer.
