Feature Film: Inferno In-Person
Film noir wasn’t only in black-and-white. Those hardboiled melodramas and detective films from the 1940s and 1950s were sometimes made in color, too.
Come enjoy four dark and gripping tales that even Technicolor can’t cheer up on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
Tonight, watch Inferno (1953), starring Robert Ryan and Rhonda Fleming. Alcoholic millionaire Donald Whitley Carson III breaks his leg in the desert and is left to die by his scheming wife Carol and her greedy lover Joseph.
Color Noir: A Film Series runs on July 21 & 28 and August 4 & 11.
