Diabetes Prevention for At Risk 60 & Older In-Person

Learn how to reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes at a diabetes prevention workshop for people 60 and older who have risk factors or who have prediabetes. Come for an orientation on Tuesday, November 18. Classes start on Tuesday, November 25.

 

Meet once a week for 16 weeks with a lifestyle coach and prediabetes peers to develop new skills, set goals, and find the motivation to eat healthier, exercise more, deal with stress, and get back on track when you fall off.

 

Then, meet biweekly and monthly to share your victories with your group and to reenergize yourself and have the best chance for success.
