Wedges of Time: The Unsung Patriots - An All Ages Event In-Person

Hear ye! Hear ye! Wedges of Time invites you to learn, touch, explore, and discover the hidden work of Rhode Island's unsung patriots. 

Step into the shoes of everyday people who kept Rhode Island alive during the War: workers, thinkers, families, marginalized communities, and neighbors.

Experience four interactive stations:

  • Homespun & Shortages: Card wool and twist fiber
  • Barrels, Bread, & Blockades: Pack a provisions barrel
  • Messages & Maps: Carry a secret message through town
  • The Price of War: Make hard choices with scarce supplies
