Feature Film: Everything Everywhere All at Once In-Person
As we tour the U.S. in our It Happened in America film series, we’re taking a side trip for Journeys of the Heart: A Film Series. Come for four personal quests to satisfy a troubled soul and reach what may be an unreachable goal on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
On March 25, see Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), starring Michelle Yeoh and Jamie Lee Curtis. Can the possibilities of the multiverse save weary Evelyn Wang from her failing laundromat, marriage, and family relationships?
On April 1, watch My Own Private Idaho (1991), starring River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves. Narcoleptic street hustler Mike Waters and Scott Favor, a fellow hustler from a rich family, travel to Italy to look for Mike’s mother.
On April 8, enjoy Dead Man (1995), starring Johnny Depp and Gary Farmer. Native American nomad “Nobody” helps critically-wounded accountant William Blake cross the Northwest frontier and find a poetic death.
On April 15, sit back for Moonlight (2016), starring Trevante Rhodes and Naomi Harris. As a child, teen, and young man, Chiron wrestles with neglect, physical and emotional abuse, and finding a way to be black and gay.
